Marketing Associate

Position Summary

The Marketing Associate will help the Marketing and Communications department develop new engaging campaigns and strategies to drive traffic and increase brand awareness. The ideal candidate will be a Social Media rock star and able to analyze marketing data and metrics. The marketing associate will also be involved in creating promotional events, compelling content, and traditional media strategies for print advertising. The candidate should have a background in marketing and experience with digital analytic tools and applications, and well as marketing strategy.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies with marketing team
  • Gather and analyze consumer behavior data in web traffic and rankings
  • Generate reports on marketing metrics
  • Contribute to collaborative efforts and organize promotional events
  • Analyze market trends and competitors’ methods
  • Assist in setting brand standards, mission, and goals
  • Improve reach to customers through SEO campaigns
  • Ideate and coordinate with the marketing design and content teams
  • Assist in creation of content, and design strategies
  • Collaborate to generate digital and print material
  • Maintain and update records of marketing metrics and results of past campaigns
  • Perform clerical and administrative duties as needed

Knowledge

  • Currently pursuing a 4-year degree in Marketing
  • Significant experience with digital tools
  • Superior computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite, marketing technology applications such as web analytics and Google AdWords

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Position Type/ Expected Hours of Work

This is a full time position.   Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday general time span: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Work Environment

This job operates in a clerical office setting.  This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.  The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those encountered while performing the essential functions of this job. Travel

This position requires less than 10% travel.
