Credentialing Coordinator

Supports the Contracting Specialists and Department’s credentialing needs to achieve department goals, according to the Department’s Policies and Procedures. Coordinates network provider submissions, such as, provider applications to internal departments and external customers (i.e. health plan partners, PCPs and network providers).

The Office Associate performs routine clerical, secretarial and administrative work in answering telephones, receiving the public, providing customer assistance, data processing, and record-keeping.

Statewide Contracting Specialist

Manages physician contracting and network development functions for developing, executing and maintaining a provider network strategy statewide. Works in concert with medical management and the Provider Servicing Department in developing actions to meet market growth and medical cost targets.

Principal Counties assigned to include Miami-Dade, Monroe, Collier, Hendry, Lee, Charlotte, Glades, DeSoto, Sarasota, Highlands, Hardee, Manatee, Polk, Hillsborough, Pinellas & Pasco.

Contracting & travel to all counties within the state of Florida also required as assigned.
